My Make-up Looks Recently…

I’ll confess that I only wear full makeup when I’m going out out (if that makes sense).  If I’m going to a casual gathering I may just use my Mac Studio Fix powder, fill in my brows and add a colored lip or nude lip.  Now when I’m getting all dressed up my makeup is on another level. I have been on a hunt for a purple lipstick for the longest while and while chatting with Miss Dree over at So She Writes she mentioned Heroine & Violetta and I couldn't wait to give it a try. Although Heroine is now a permanent line I don’t own it yet but do intend to purchase by the end of the summer. I ordered this from Mac Cosmetics online for $15.00US.

I’m so excited that I finally have my hands on the Riri Hearts Holiday Collection *throws confetti*. Ordering online would have been a total nightmare since it was sold out in 15mins. What’s worst is the shipment to Barbados was so small it was sold out in a flash as well.  Kevin was so gracious that he went to the Mac store 2 hours early to make sure he got those lipsticks for me and he was successful. He actually tried to trick me by messaging me after the Mac store opened saying he hit snooze on his alarm and then he didn't hear it go off again, so he now has to get ready to leave home to head to the Mac store. I wasn't panicked because I knew he was teasing me.

Lipstick Haul [MAC, Maybelline, L'oreal Paris, Revlon] With Swatches on Lips

I was always a lip-gloss kinda girl but now I’m branching into quality lipsticks to jazz up my look. I got my mom to pick up a couple lipsticks for me while she was on holiday recently. Here are the range of lips sticks that was bought for me from the MAC store and the others from Shoppers Drug Mart in Calgary. The swatches were done on my arm and lips.
