Here is a visual view of what my hair looks like after my relaxer in May 2014. Let me apologize for this late posting, I’m trying to catch up on life since being on vacation.
I have tried a few different brands and types of protein treatment but by far the best and most convenient for me is the Aphogee product line. I use the Aphogee Keratin 2 MinuteReconstructor weekly or bi-weekly depending on what I’m focusing on that wash day. I also use the Aphogee 2 Step Protein Treatment every 6-8weeks. Check out the video below to see why I love this Product line.
I have been on my hair journey for almost two years and here are a few products that my hair absolutely loves and I would definitely recommend in the video below.
It’s no secret that I opt to do buns first before any other protective style especially for work. They are so neat and classy. They can be worn on almost all angles of your head. You can have a side bun, middle bun, high bun, low bun and the list goes on with how creative you can get. Feel free to add a side twist or braid to add some character to your face.
If you haven’t seen it yet check out how I do my buns below:
All of my buns aren’t always neat but they don’t have to be perfect. You will be surprise how well a style might turn out when its alil messy.
As promised here is the footage I recorded, thanks to my bestie. My scalp test done by SoftSheen-Carson’s Karl Richmond who is from Jamaica. For my written review please see this post here.
Hope you enjoyed the video and check out other SoftSheen Carson's hair products.
I have been getting alot of questions about how I achieve my buns so I decided visual was better and I did a video to show you guys. I usually rock a natural bun to work and casual outings. However, when I want more volume with my buns, I add a sock for more uniformed and large look.
Take a look of how I do my buns in the video:
From the pictures below the two top pics almost look identical but you can tell that the sock bun is more defined.

Which do you prefer to rock a Natural Bun or Sock Bun?
