I co-washed my hair mid
week last week focusing mainly on moisture and my hair ended up in a loose
braid out .
This weekend I'll focus on
strength by adding protein.
[1] Scalp massage with Extra
Virgin Olive Oil (warmed) for 4 mins. Applied EVOO to the last
3 inches of my
hair.
[2] Deep Conditioned on dry
hair with a mixture of Crème of Nature Intense Conditioning
Treatment, 1 tea
spoon of ORS Mayonnaise, 1 tea spoon of honey, 1 tea spoon of KeraPro
hair felt much stronger as well as very moisturized so I’m a happy
camper.
[3] Applied TreSemme Luxurious
Vitamin E Luxurious Moisture Conditioner and let it sit for
2 mins and rinsed
[4] Wrapped my hair in a T-shirt
for 1 hour.
Once my hair was 80% dry I sprayed all of my roots with Mane n Tail detangler. Then applied my leave in conditioner of Aussie Moist Conditioner, Herbal Essences Split End Protector and sealed with Hot Six oil. Detangling wasn't a breeze but also not very tedious. At this stage of my stretch I start getting a lot of single strand knots which are so annoying.
My throat was scratchy
like if I was coming down with a cold so I sat under my hooded dryer for 15mins
using low heat, so my roots would dry faster and let my ends air-dry by itself eventually.
Moisturized my hair with Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter. I parted my hair on a side and sprayed
the hair around the 'part' with my moisturizing spray and followed up with Ampro Pro Styling Gel on my edges. I dampened my brush and
gently brushed my edges. Pulled my hair into a ponytail and bun it.
