I didn't get to post about my wash day last week but I’ll share how I wore my hair last week. On Sunday evening I got a feeling that I didn't feel like dealing with my hair for that week. I remembered I had a synthetic instant weave, so I grabbed it out to make sure it was still in good condition. I put my hair in two inside corn rows (French braids), going backwards and leaving our about 2 inches at the front of my hair out. Now this wig is bone straight and my new growth is very unruly and you guys know how I feel about flat irons, so I just placed a head band at the top to attempt to hide the different textures. The length of this wig is my ideal length goal for my real hair.

[2] Shampooed with ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo
[3] With my hair in 4 sections apply Aphogee 2 step protein treatment under my hooded dryer

New Growth @ 16 weeks Post Relaxer |
I chose to rock a loose bun so that I don’t have to comb or brush my hair all week.
How was your last wash day & When is your next relaxer?
Love the Instant Weave and your new growth is so pretty x
ReplyDeleteI haven't used the Aphogee 2 step treatment I Such a long time. I'm feeling like I may introduce it back into my regimen at some point. Nice post!
ReplyDeleteThat weave looks good on you! Great idea to just use a head band to blend your textures. I need to do that when I wear my hair in buns because my edges are unruly honey!
ReplyDeleteCongrats on making it to 16 weeks post! Is this your longest stretch?

Instant weaves are awesome aren't they? It looks fab on you, love! I was supposed to do the 2 step during my last wash to get ready for relaxer day but I got lazy. My hair is still in a bun lol.
ReplyDeleteI love the weave! I am such a supporter of instant weaves, I really like the idea of blending the textures with a band, will definitely try it next time! well done on get to 16 weeks post.
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the pending relaxer!!
The wig looks really nice on you and I love your loose bun in the end - I should try that sometime.
ReplyDeleteYour wig looks great, I miss wearing half wigs, since my hair has soooo much texture now it looks very obvious, I will have to give the head band a try.
ReplyDeleteThe instant weave looks very real. Now that's hot!!!

Hmmmm...after my aborted crochet Senagalese twists...an instant weave is looking hella good right now!
ReplyDeleteI love the new growth. The extensions look so real, girl!
ReplyDeleteThank you ladies for your encouraging words, you ladies rock!
ReplyDeleteThat instant weave is it. That's my ideal length goal too. When I get there someday I will do a happy dance with cartwheels and everything :). I am only 3 inches away but it's taking forever and a day I tell you.
