Wet n Wild Sugar Plum Fairy (908C) Lipstick…

I picked up this gorgeous shade lipstick from the Wet n Wild Megalast Lip Color and fell in love with it instantly. It’s a semi-matte lipstick with great pigmentation.  Although it’s a matte it isn't drying (atleast on my lips) but I do add a lip balm before applying.  It has a crayon smell which isn't appealing to me at all. A lot of people have said it’s a dupe for MAC Rebel, so if you don’t want to spend hefty, this is a great alternative.

Have you tried any of Wet N Wild Lipsticks & What's your favorite shade?

NEW VIDEO | Natural Bun & Sock Bun…

I have been getting alot of questions about  how I achieve my buns so I decided visual was better and I did a video to show you guys.  I usually rock a natural bun to work and casual outings.  However, when I want more volume with my buns, I add a sock for more uniformed and large look.

Take a look of how I do my buns in the video:

From the pictures below the two top pics almost look identical but you can tell that the sock bun is more defined.

How To Make *Miss* Products Work For You…

Don’t you just hate when you spend your hard earned money on a product especially when everyone is raving about it and it doesn't work for you. You can opt to give it away to friends or family if you want, but if you are like me and don’t like wasting money you WILL find a way to make it work for your hair.

Do you remember me whining about the Aussie Moist Shampoo and how my hair hated this stuff (see my review here). Well, even though I diluted it to reduce the harshness, it still didn't work and then a thought came into my head. Since my CON Moisture & Shine Shampoo is so moisturizing why not add abit to the Aussie Moist Shampoo to test it out. This is what I did:

[1]   Get an applicator bottle
[2]   Pour some Aussie Moist Shampoo to point 1 in photo
[3]   Add some CON Moisture & Shine Shampoo to point 2 in photo
[4]   Add Water to point 3 in photo
[5]   Add 5 drops of Peppermint Oil
[6]   Shake very well before use.

I have the best of both worlds right now because my hair gets cleaned and still remains

Aphogee – Protein Wash Day…

I’m currently 8weeks post relaxer but I feel like I’m 10-12weeks post, these coils are seriously business.  I usually do a strong protein treatment every 6-8 weeks and the last time I did one was 1 week post relaxer. Protein wash day also means hopping in and out the shower 3 times *argh*.

[1]   Prepooed with Coconut Oil with a few drops of peppermint on my scalp [did a scalp
massage for 5 mins] and on the length of  my hair for 30mins under my heat cap.

[2]   Shampooed with ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo (to remove build up). I have found that
prepooing with Coconut Oil before using this Shampoo doesn't leave my hair stripped,

Twist and Bun Two Ways…

This hairstyle was a mishap and so unplanned. My hair was in a ponytail and the front was left out. Not wanting to undo my pony tail I just twisted the front section and glided it around my high ponytail, then bun my hair. I wore my hair like this for 3 days then I switched it up and wore a low bun for 2 days.

I like the fact that it adds character to the side of my face instead of the same old bun which is combed straight back without any parts.  No sock was used for any of these buns. Sorry for the quality of the pics, it was taken with my phone.

What methods do you use to change up your same ole bun?
