I’m doing so much better
and I want to thank everyone of you who reached out and sent well wishes. I
truly appreciated it. Being sick really
drains your mood and I wasn't motivated to open my computer most days to share
anything with you guys but i‘m back and trying to get back into my groove. Let’s dive into the fastest washday I have
had in a long time.
My new growth is usually
manageable up until 10-12weeks post relaxer but I'm finding a lot more coils than
normal and its making me break out my Mane n Tail detangler. I’m only 7/8 weeks
post which is crazy because I’m now dealing with single strand knots. How I’m I going to make it another 7 weeks if
this is starting now. Pray for me y’all.
1] Part my hair in 4 sections
and take my time to detangle with minimum breakage using my oil tip.
2] Hopped into the shower and
shampooed my hair with ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo.
Followed up Garnier Damage Eraser Shampoo because I wanted squeaky clean hair.
3] Appllied Carol’s Daughter Conditioner Monoi Repairing Conditioner for 5mins as
directed
on the package, thanks to Hairevolve for letting me try out this
product. More about them soon.
4] As I was rinsing the
conditioner out my hair felt soft and so moisturized. My strands felt
amazing like if I had applied
heat which was weird to me.
I don’t think I’ll be
skipping using heat while deep conditioning very often but it was sure nice to
finished my wash day in less than 30mins.
5] Wrapped my hair in a
tshirt for 10mins.
6] Applied my leave in
conditioners of Crème of Nature Strength & Shine and my moisturizing
mix and sealed with coconut
oil.
7] I sat under my hooded
dryer to dry my roots only. My style for this week has
been bunning
and protecting my ends.
I have been keeping my
hair really simple and sticking to buns these days. Did you wash your hair recently head over to Savingourstrands & Justgrowalready and share your washday experience with
us.
How was your last wash
day?
I have been thinking about relaxing my hair lately. But the reason why I stopped in the first place kept dancing in my head: a relaxer damaged my hair and burned my scalp. But you have been doing so good with your telaxer touch-ups. I'm glad you are feeling better.

ReplyDeleteWhen I wasn't well I didn't do my hair for months and when I finally did it, it was the longest it has ever taken me to do my hair. Ugh, short wash days are the best!
