Welcome to Tomes Edition

Hi Everyone, I would like to extend a warm welcome to visitors of Tomes Edition blog. My name is Tomi and I am from the beautiful tropical island of Barbados in the Caribbean. I have set-up this blog to connect with you and to share my experiences of being on a Healthy Hair Journey  and all that it entails. I am affectionately known as 'Tomes' so here's my edition to the real life quest of being on a journey to long healthy hair, thank you in advance for reading and I look forward to interacting with you on a regular basis. I love everything about Beauty: Hair, Make-up, Fashion, however I am not vain, I also like to celebrate my inner beauty and discuss life in general.

The main focus of this blog is to document the growth of my hair to its healthiest possible state as well as gain beautiful lengths (I have only imagined or dreamed about APL and beyond) as it is my goal to share tips on my techniques and the products I have used on my hair with a little spin on my make-up looks and my fashion sense. From time to time I will share aspects of my personal life to enhance the realness of the journey.

I was ALWAYS into my hair, so stumbling upon on how to take care of black relaxed hair is such a plus, because my hair has never grown passed Shoulder Length and I thought that was long, boy was I wrong.  I want you to please take the time out to follow me on my journey to long beautiful healthy hair. Please note that I do not proclaim to be a license hair stylish | hairdresser, but, I do hope I can encourage or inspire anyone to start their Healthy Hair Journey by sharing with you my experiences by trial and error based on reviews of various products to see what products and techniques work best for my hair.
