I have heard Jen over at (Justgrowalready) rave about this product and I love a great moisturizing deep conditioner. Back in December 2012 Sally’s Beauty Supply had a sale on these for $6.00 CDN so I quickly contacted my brother in Canada and asked him to pick up 2 jars to mail to me. He graciously picked up 2 jars but asked how long will the product last because the jar was so small, that he could have picked up 3 more, I gladly obliged

::The Assessment::

[1]      It’s in a Jar which I love because it’s easy to scoop out and apply directly to the hair.
It’s really thick and a little can go a long way. Although its only 5.1oz I got 4 and ½
          uses out of this jar.
[2]      Just before I rinse out this conditioner my hair feels stiff but not as stiff as the
Aphogee 2 step treatment. As I rinse out the conditioner out my hair is silky, soft
          and really moisturized.
[3]      I really like the fact that this deep conditioner does what it says without adding any
          additions to boost the effectiveness
[4]      You can hardly see the product when applied to the hair as it easily absorbed into
the hair I am glad my brother picked this up at the sale price because the amount
of product for the original price of $10.99 US is too expensive.
[5]      It has a STRONG perfume smell that drive me nuts. If I leave it on my hair for longer
than 30 mins I get a headache. The smell lingers after you wash it out but disappears
once I apply my leave in conditioners. Anyone that knows me knows I CAN’T stand
strong smells as I refer to them as “coloured air” lol.

Unfortunately I haven’t seen this product in Barbados anywhere so if any of my Barbadian readers has spotted this anywhere please let me know.  I absolutely love how my hair feels after I use this conditioner but the head ache’s isn't worth it for me so I won’t be repurchasing. Sadly I have only used up one jar.

Have you the KeraPRO Restorative Intensive Treatment and what are your thoughts on it?

Be inspired…

  1. never tried it since its not available in my area
but i'm wondering if its really 100% moisturizing because the 7. & 8. ingredients are proteins

    1. I think its almost a balance between moisture & protein because its gets alil hard after I come out from my heat cap but once I rinse my hair feels really moisturized and soft. I wouldn't use it every week thou but its a great DC.

  2. I love this product, I did a review on it also. For me it is a nice balance of moisture and protein but like you said, to get it I always have to order online. Shipping to Trinidad is a bit of a turn off but I only stock up when it has sale :)

  3. I like this conditioner a lot and use it as both a pre-poo on dry hair and a deep conditioner. I agree that the smell is atrocious! Apply heat and I swear that just amps up the general funkiness. I added some essential oil to the jar to try to mask the smell and it did help so you may want to try that.
