Simple Wash Day…

I have been keeping my wash days pretty simple recently, let’s dive into it:

[1]   Scalp massage with Extra Virgin Olive Oil with (warmed) for 3mins. Applied EVOO to the
       rest my hair for 30mins with heat. Although EVOO is heavy for my strands, my hair was
       dry and I felt my hair needed a thicker oil to quench my strands. When I took my heat cap
       off I couldn't find majority of the oil as it had sunk into my strands.

Aunt Jackie's Moisturizing & Softening Conditioner

[2]   I let my hair cool for 5mins and applied the Aunt Jackie’s Moisturizing & Softening
       Conditioner for 30mins with heat on top of the oil.  While rinsing out the conditioner my

I have been on a hunt for a purple lipstick for the longest while and while chatting with Miss Dree over at So She Writes she mentioned Heroine & Violetta and I couldn't wait to give it a try. Although Heroine is now a permanent line I don’t own it yet but do intend to purchase by the end of the summer. I ordered this from Mac Cosmetics online for $15.00US.

Wash Day Experience…

I’m linking up with the lovely KLP & Keyda from Saving Our Strands by sharing my wash day experience. My weekends has been so hectic that I have been cutting corners and I hope it doesn't come back to bite me later.

[1]   Scalp massage with Extra Virgin Coconut Oil with a couple drops of peppermint oil 

       (warmed) for 3mins. Applied EVCO to the last 5 inches of my hair. My original plan was to 

       Prepoo with EVCO but when I looked at the time, I decided to skip this step and add my

       deep conditioner over the oil.

My Support System…

Since the start of my hair journey my biggest support has been my fiancé Kevin and my Mom.  After all the research I had done, I was ready to start looking for products from various beauty supply shops especially to find who has it the cheapest.

Kevin & I spent about 3-4 hours in Bridgetown walking up and down and left and right to find what product I really wanted to try out first.  He has endured through the constant talk about this person’s blog or product and the amount of time I spend doing all of those stuff.  When he comes over by me and sees me on the computer he immediately says "you are looking at hair right” I smile and he knows exactly what that means and now he says I’m obsessed lol.
