::The Assessment::
Let’s take a look at what this product promises and the ingredients, I’m sure you would get an instant hairgasm and I do hope some one’s hair does just that.
I read a lot of positive reviews on this product and when I saw the price here in Barbados, I decided to give it a shot. It comes in a bottle which is so inconvenient. I usually have to pour it into a bowl to use it.

It smells amazing like a Popsicle I used to have back at school.  It isn't over powering because you guys know I can’t stand strong smells.  The consistency of the product is creamy, not too thick or running just in-between.
It’s white in color and easy sinks into my strands. Even though I’m heavy handed when it comes to applying products you can still tell the product sunk into my strands. This immediately impressed me but for how long.
Product in my hair
The first time I used this DC was after shampooing my hair and I left it on for 40 mins with heat. While rinsing out the product my hair especially my ends felt dry even though I was under runner water, if that makes sense. I couldn't believe it because it’s filled with so many yummy ingredients.
The second time I added Extra Virgin Olive Oil & Coconut Oil and applied heat for 30mins. While rinsing out the product I got the same result, my hair was drier than when I started my wash day. Is that even possible?

You guys know throwing away products is a BIG no no for me so what I have been doing to make the best out of this product is, to add it to my other Deep Conditioners till I use it up. I didn't receive any of those negative effects I did when using it alone , when I added it to my other Deep Conditioners.

Overall I was extremely disappointed this product didn't work for me even though I love their Shampoo and Moisturizer.  All heads aren't the same right. I wouldn't be repurchasing this product.

Almost all the beauty supply stores in Barbados carry this product if you want to give it a try. If you do, let me know if you like it.

Have you used the Intense Fortifying Hair Conditioning Treatment & what are your thoughts on it?

Be inspired…

  1. That's a shame you didn't like it! I haven't tried it, I've only ever tried the setting lotion and mango butter moisturizer from this brand which were both great but I wasn't keen on the smell x

  5. It is always disappointed when a product doesn't work the way we hoped ... I think that's why I don't buy a lot of products because the thought of it not working out makes me mad, haha.
