OOTN | 6 Month's Dinner Style…

On June 1, 2013 Kevin proposed to me and on June 20, 2015 we celebrated our 6 month anniversary.  People often get comfortable in their relationships and forget the little things which made the relationship work in the beginning. We don’t profess to know everything just what works for us. Even though we enjoy wine & dining, we also enjoy the little things in life. Beach dates, movie dates, sit at home and chill dates, doing stuff for each other, buying each other favorite treats randomly. These are just a few ways that works for us.

Can I confess that the first time I wore this dress was in 2002 *gasp*. It was abit difficult to get the dress over my head, but once we passed that hurdle the fit was on point. I wore grey/black glittered strappy shoes paired with a black clutch bag. The material of the dress was stretchy so the fit was snug on the body.  My hair was air-dried here, that why it looks so poofy and crazy *hangs head*. I swear i didn't leave home looking like that lol.
Our Dinner at Zen Restaurant Barbados
This was the first time we have ever been to Zen Restaurant in Barbados and we loved it. It was also the first time I ate with chops sticks.  We can’t believe we had been sleeping on this gem of a restaurant. The food and service were amazing. I could literally eat there every weekend.
Our appetizer was from the Thai menu  which was Goong Hom Pha [spicy tiger prawns delicately wrapped in rice paper, deep fried and served with sesame seed soy sauce – Kevin’s] &Ka Nom Pang Na Moo [Crisp deep fried pork spread on a silver toast and served with chopped cucumber in sweet vinegar – Tomi’s].
Dinner at Zen Restaurant Barbados
Our mains from the Japanese menu which was Teriyaki Chicken and Beef [Kevin’s] & Tempura and Teriyaki Chicken [Tomi’s] both meals were served with a Ginger Salad and Jasmine Rice.  For drinks we ordered a Rum punch and Crane cooler

In some instances, one part of a restaurant meal may be average and other parts are on point but at Zen Restaurant everything was delicious and on point. Cheers to the chef on making amazing meal.

What do you wear to dinner?

  8. Hi Tomi, I inderstand what you mean about the little things that made the relationship work in the biginning. having children tends to become our number one priority sometimes and we forget about our husbands! You look stunning in that dress! I still have 2 dresses from 2003 that I have been trying to get into. Wish me luck!

It depends on what we're doing that night and what the season is as well. All I know is that when it's date night and we're heading out I try to look cute, haha :)
