::The Assessment::
I purchased this product from Mall Mart more than 1 year ago and I hardly use it because of how great it is and how little the product is in the jar.  I pull this out when my hair needs that extra boost of moisture and strength at the same time.  The consistency is very thick and creamy. A little of the product goes a long way.  I have gotten 4 uses out of this jar and there is still product left in the jar. I like how was easily accessible it is by being in a jar. I prefer deep conditioners in a jar as opposed to a tube, so I don’t have to deal with the hassle of squeezing out the product.

The scent is alil powering with a floral scent but I can handle it and it doesn’t linger after rinsing it out.  My nostrils can’t stand strong smells at all as I develop bad headaches.  The size of the jar compared to the price tag is alil steep for me. The amount of product you receive for the amount spent is very discouraging.
Deep Conditioner in my hair
The product didn't sink into my strands and I was alil worried but to my surprise my hair was very moisturized and silky while rinsing out the product. I instantly noticed how much stronger my hair felt since there are protein properties in this conditioner.   L'Oreal brags about erasing up to one year of damage of split ends, weakness, roughness, dullness and dehydration and I can honestly say my hair’s weakness- strengthen, dehydration increased after one use.  Overtime I believe the product may be able to address those other 3 areas but not on the first use on my hair. Word to the wise this is a protein conditioner but the moisturizing properties in it, is amazing on my hair. A bonus is that it contains ceramides. A benefit of ceramides is it helps provide a protective barrier to keep the cuticle layer in tact which helps lock in moisture.

Even though this product didn't sink into my hair I was very impressed with how my hair felt after using it on all occasions.  If you haven’t grabbed a bottle, go ahead and get one and let me know your thoughts.

Have you used the L’Oreal Paris Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing Balm & What are your thoughts on it?

Be Inspired...

  4. I didn't realize it was a protein conditioner. I've tried it, loved it, but never bought it again--- don't ask why. Strange that it just sat on your hair, I don't like conditioners that do that.
