How I Used This Product:
After prepooing (pre-shampoo treatment) with coconut oil, I shampooed with Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Fortifying Shampoo.
Shampooed my hair after detangling throughly.

The Assessment:
I purchased this product after I couldn't find my staple clarifying shampoo of ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo and I needed a product that was just as great to fill in until I found my staple.  I also didn't want to spend too much since I saw it as a temporary product.

This shampoo has a lemon fresh smell that doesn’t linger after rinsing out the product. It’s a pale yellow in color and has a running texture to it. It lathers very quickly and you don't need alot of product to shampoo your hair.

Let me admit by letting you know, the first time I used this shampoo I was alittle confused because the shampoo was creamy and felt moisturizing while I rubbed my scalp to clean it. I was almost disappointed because I already have a moisturizing shampoo.  But  to my surprise my hair felt stripped after rinsing out the product, which means it did what it was supposed to do by cleaning my hair effectively.  Strangely my hair didn’t feel as stripped as it normally feels after using a clarifying shampoo.

Garnier Fructis Damage Eraser Fortifying Shampoo cleaned my hair and scalp very well while leaving my strands not too stripped which is a good thing. Overall I would repurchase this product because it cleaned my hair, has an unbeatable price and the availability.  If you are protein sensitive this may not be the product for you since it contains quite a few proteins which is expected since it a damage erasing shampoo. I would expect some strengthening factors in this shampoo to curb the damage.  Even though my hair isn't damaged its still a good product and works well with my hair. I would only use this once a month or as needed.

Have you tried any Garnier Fructis Hair Product line?

  3. I like a shampoo that has a fruity sent that doesn’t stay around, and a quick lather is a huge plus in my book. Great review Tomi :)
