New Buys
Elasta QP Intense Fortifying Hair Conditioner Treatment -12oz
I purchased this from Mall Mart, Swan Street, Bridgetown for $9.95BDS ($4.97US). I have heard great reviews about this product and since I use a lot of their product line I decided to give it a try.  As usual I like to use a new Deep Conditioner when I’m freshly relaxed as well as deep into my stretch about 12weeks post to see if the product lives up to its name, so my review will come at the end of my stretch.

L’Oreal Total Repair 5 Damage Erasing-Balm -8.5oz
I purchased this from Mall Mart, Swan Street, Bridgetown for $14.19BDS ($7.09US). Have

you seen the millions of advertisements on TV about their new range of hair products, well out of all of them this one caught my eye. As usual I like to use a new Deep Conditioner when I’m freshly relaxed as well as deep into my stretch about 12weeks post to see if the product lives up to its name, so my review will come at the end of my stretch.

Global Brand Little Honey Bear - 8oz
I purchased this from the $3 Dollar store for $3.00.  This was actually a whim purchase because generally honey is very expensive so when I saw it there I quickly picked up a bottle but I plan to pick up some more later.  Here are some benefits of honey:
[1]   It acts as a humectant (attracts moisture) by preventing loss of moisture. Due to the high sugar content of honey, it helps retains water which maintains moisture content in hair.
[2]   It acts as an anti-bacterial property which helps to have a healthy scalp which reduces the possibility of dandruff.  It makes hair shiny and lustrous.  I plan to mix 2 table spoons with my Deep Conditioner.

Old Faithful
Glorious Belize Extra Virgin Coconut Oil -500ml
I purchased this from Emerald City Supermarket, Six Roads, St Phillip for $13.50BDS ($6.75US).  I have never heard about this brand before but I must say I can actually smell the coconut in it compared to the ones sold in pharmacies in the small bottles for less than $5.00BDS.  I bought the Natures Way Coconut Oil from Amazon for $10.00US and saw it in health shops for $42.00BDS($21.00US) and Supercentre Supermarket for $60.00BDS($30.00US), there is no way I will spend an extra $22.00BDS for that brand, there must be a reasonable brand and I’m happy I found one.  I’ll be using some of this in my Deep Conditioner as well as using it as a Hot Oil treatment.

Crème of Nature Argan Oil Moisture & Shine Shampoo -12oz
I purchased this from Emerald City Supermarket, Six Roads, St Phillip for $10.35BDS ($5.17US).  I really like this shampoo and had to return to it as I can’t find another sulfate free shampoo that’s this great, see my review here.  It came with a sample of Argan Oil Hot Oil treatment as well.  This will be used weekly.

Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter -6oz
I purchased this from Colleens Beauty Supply, Bridgetown for $13.95BDS ($6.97US). This moisturizer lives up to its name and I use it very often, see my review here.

  1. Be careful with the brand of "honey". It's actually a blend of honey and corn syrup. You may be better off buying the more expensive honey from Supercentre, etc. I saw that L'oreal product in iMart as well and I am thinking about trying it. I will wait to see your review.

  2. You picked up a lot of goodies. I can't wait to read your reviews! Also, thanks for the suggestion on the CON Argan Oil Moisture and Shine Shampoo. I feel like I'm on an endless hunt to find a shampoo I really like. Hopefully this one will be a winner. I will pick up some when I get rid of a few other bottles from my stash.
