They Promise:
  • Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask rehabilitates extra dry or over-processed hair with intense moisturization.
  • This weekly treatment is so concentrated, just a small amount is needed for hair to become soft, lustrous and shinning in minutes.
  • Three naturally derived extracts work on the hair strand to defy dryness.

  • Treat your hair to intense moisture with this once-a-week conditioning mask.
Suggested Use:
  • After shampooing, apply a small amount to wet hair, concentrating on ends. Let penetrate for 3-5minutes. Rinse well. Style as usual.

How I Used This Product:
[1]   As a Deep Conditioner after shampooing with heat for 30mins.
[2]   As a Deep Conditioner after a Protein Treatment with heat for 30mins.

The Assessment::
This Deep Conditioner is in a tub *thumbs up* which make it easily accessible to use. It has a cream colour which smells really nice but I can’t quite put my hands on the exact smell which is not too strong because you know I can’t stand strong smells.  The texture is thick & smooth and distributes evenly. I have used this product when I was 12weeks & 14weeks post relaxer and 1 week post relaxer. I prefer to use a DC deep into my stretch as well as on freshly relaxed hair to see if the product is truly moisturizing and I’m happy to say this product lives up to its name. It’s VERY moisturizing that my 14weeks post relaxed hair and new growth felt like butter, very soft and silky. My new growth was soooooooooo manageable that I didn't need to bring out my Mane n Tail Detangler to deal with my tight coils. I used this product on its own without any additions of oils or anything else and it has great slip.  A little goes a long way and no need to be heavy handed as the product sinks into the hair as seen below.

Looking at the ingredient list it has a lot of cones and if you are cone sensitive you should probably stay away but a clarifying shampoo can easily get rid of the cones. This is a strictly moisturizing DC without any protein. If I ever suffer from protein overload this will be the first product I would reach for to help correct it.

Overall I would repurchase this product in a heartbeat however for the price of $19.99BDS ($10.00US) in Barbados is alittle expensive for the amount you get in the tub, which is my downside. I got 3 1/2 uses from one tub.  This is the BEST moisturizing Deep Conditioner that I've tried so far on my hair journey.  If you haven't tried this yet what are you waiting for.

Have you used the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask & What are your thoughts on it?

  1. Maybe the -cone content is what my hair disliked but it didn't work magic for me. Glad your hair loved it. Great review.

  2. Am so sold! I have been looking for a moisturising DC all my life! I thought I had found my dear with the Herbal Essence hair mask, but it just didn’t work well, might need to try it again. However, this DC is definitely on my list, click, add to basket, click, it’s bought! It does sound a bit dear, US$10 would work at £6-7 but it’s almost £15 here!!! But if it works then it’s the best thing that will have happened to my hair.
    Great review Tomes

  4. I tried this product and I loved it too. It was my first staple moisturizing deep conditioner. The size of the container and price made me want to keep looking because I found myself running out of it so frequently. But you are right, I had no complaints in regards to the quality of product. It really is great! Great review, Tomi!
