Vacation 2014: New York Edition…

Heading to the airport for my trip to New York
Words can’t explain how much I was looking for to this vacation and if you read my BLOGGER meet and greet I explained why. After working for 6 straight months, a much deserved break was needed and I welcomed it with wide open arms.  I normally travel on American Airlines but after my co-workers were raving about Jet Blue service from Barbados to New York, I decided to give them a try.  I don’t see the fuss about Jet Blue except there is a TV at the back of every seat, which is convenient for watching TV to keep you occupied. Actually the particular flight I was on was newish and didn't come with that feature, but they were kind enough to offer $15.00 off my next trip. The air-hostesses weren't friendly and the flight was nothing to shout about, just another regular flight.

I chose to fly on Jet Blue [My mom loves fixing things as seen above]
As you guys know I’ll be getting married this year and major things like my dress, Kevin’s suit need to be taken care of as soon as possible. I went to New York to pickup those two major things and spend some time with my friend Nikita & also my family from Delaware. Take a look and some of what I was up to while on vacation in New York which was only 3days:
One of the most beautiful souls I know and love
Nikita is the best host and travel guide anyone can ask for. Extremely accommodating and would go the extra mile. She’s a true gem and I cherish her for that.  We went wedding shopping, general shopping and grab dinner one night.  Nikita is so creative and is an entrepreneur as well. Extremely self driven young lady. Be sure to check her out at LaNomRah Designs . Most of you guys may have seen me rock her design in an earring during my vacation on Instagram .

New York shopping isn't like how it used to be years ago. The bargains were far and few.

We had dinner at Apple bees in Times square.

I went to visit my family in Delaware via a Greyhound bus for a day which it was awesome.
