Just the other day it was
January, before I knew it, March was here and I started planning my trip. Before
I could blink twice it was June and I was enjoying my vacation, then it was my
birthday in September and now December is upon us. This year certainly flew by
really fast but I got to capture great memories in the process.

- Started my blog *throws confetti*
- My hair grew to APL (Armpit Length) the longest it has ever been in my adult life.
- Started my YouTube Channel (If anyone had said to me in 2012 that I would be on YouTube I would have laughed so hard but now I’m here and glad I am too).
- Found a rinse out conditioner that I absolutely love in Aussie Moist Conditioner.
- DIY steaming without a steamer, see my post here.
- I have found an emergency Deep Conditioner for moisture purposes in Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask.
- Extra Virgin Coconut Oil has never failed me for prepooing , sealing or anything.
- Taking Spring Valley Hair, Skin & Nails boosted my hair growth.
- Black tea rinses to curb shedding.
- Flexi-Rods have been my preferred style for outings when I’m deep into my stretch.
- Found a gel that works in Ampro Pro Styl Protein Styling Gel to tame my edges when I’m deep into my stretch.

2013 Misses
- Aussie Moist Shampoo was my worst purchase to date, however I have found a way to make it work here.
- DIY Relaxer, I tried in the past and failed miserably but look out in 2014.
- Prepooing with Extra Virgin Olive Oil was too thick for my fine strands and weighed my hair down.
- So far Elasta QP Intense Conditioner hasn't impressed me and I’m really disappointed. It really sucks when a lot of people rave about a product and it doesn't absolutely nothing for your hair.
- Taking Spring Valley Hair, Skin & Nails increased my shedding due to an increase in growth rate, but see why I wouldn't take any supplements anymore here.
- I can’t seem to get the right tight curls for my Bantu Knot Out | Cork Screws.
What were some of the
highlights and misses you experienced for 2013?
