My Vacation Hair Needs...

In my last (wash day) post I would have shared with you guys that I was on vacation and not planning to do much to my hair.  Here are some of the Hair Accessories and Hair Products I carried with me below.

::Hair Accessories::

[A]    Hair Clips - To keep my hair in place when I wrap my hair for bed
[B]    Scrunches - When I’ll threw my hair in a pony tail [Without the metal]
[C]    Flexi-Rods - Was planning to do a curly hair style
::Hair Products::

[D]    Aussie Moist Conditioner - I bought this from Wal-Mart just in case it was needed.
[E]    Tresemme Heat Tamer Spray - To blow dry, in case I couldn't air dry
[F]    Hot Six Oil - A must have for everyday use
[G]    ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo - I was planning on going swimming
[H]    Elasta QP Olive Oil & Mango Butter - Must have for everyday use
::Of course combs, brush, satin bonnet but are not seen in the picture::

I was on holiday for 2 weeks and on day 8 my scalp started itching me like crazy so I knew I needed a quick wash.

[1]      Shampooed with ORS Creamy Aloe Shampoo.
[2]      Slathered the Aussie Moist Conditioner and left it on for 5 mins and rinsed.  I
          couldn’t believe I haven’t tried this product line sooner because I really like this
          conditioner. My hair was so soft and moisturized, I just couldn't believe it.
[3]      From the list above I didn't walk with any leave in Conditioner so I used the
          same Aussie moist as my leave in conditioner and applied Hot Six Oil over that.
[4]      I was heading out to the mall so I just scooped my hair up and let it air dry
          while I was out.

  2. I hear so many good things about the Aussie Moist line. I keep saying that I need to try it. When I go on vacay, I take my ORS creamy aloe (great minds think alike!), a sample size of my DC, a cowash conditioner that can double as my leave in, an oil (most likely EVCO) and a small sample size container of hair gel (gotta keep these edges under control!). I will also take my wide tooth comb, a scarf, and my scrunchies.

    1. You should give Aussie moist a try when you can, I am really liking this conditioner and looking to get more products from this line. I like how you keep things simple.

  3. Funny just today I was thinking of holiday hair. The last time I was in a humid destination with my own hair it doubled in size thanks to the humidity so I had to get it braided. I prefer protective styling with extensions when on holiday much easier to handle and you don't have to carry too many products or tools as well.

    1. Great choice of protective styling for your vacay. It cuts down the time you spend in-front the mirror every morning.

    1. I went to Sheraton last night and didn't see it in any of the hair stores. I need to go to town to pick up some hair goodies, so if I see Aussie Moist product line I'll mention it on the blog for you to see.
